Conservation in action!

The Historical Metallurgy Society is committed to conservation and preservation of all aspects of our metallurgical history. We have made representations in a number of cases where we felt that the metallurgical heritage was under threat.

A large collection of archived material, and material relating to the earlier activities of previous Conservation Officers is held in the Society’s archive at the Ironbridge Gorge Museum. Please download the catalogue for more information.
